Ashley Graham was born on November 22, 1989, in Lincoln Nebraska. Two of her sisters raised her, but Graham was frequently bullied at schools due to her larger thighs. Graham again made headlines after she appeared on Lane Bryant's controversial advertisement. The commercial was ultimately banned in several countries. The controversy grew out of control and she spoke out in"Tonight Show "Tonight Tonight Show" hosted by Jay Leno. She is known for her range of four notes. Grande began singing and acting as a child. In 2008, she was offered a role in the Broadway show 13 before she began to appear on TV in smaller roles. Her role in Victorious which was a Nickelodeon TV show, in the year 2010 was her first big breakthrough. She played Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. The sitcom ended up being cancelled at the end of 2013, she starred in the spin-off show Sam & Cat (2013-14).
