Vinita Nair
Nair joined the station in July 2004, and has since reported on a wide range of topics, including the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as the school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was employed as a reporter for ABC News in December 2007 as an anchor and correspondent for ABC News Now. To fulfill her duties as a reporter, she provided live reporting and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair worked as a co-anchor on World News Now, America This Morning and ABC's digital network until September 17th in 2008 to February 18, 2011. She co-hosted with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. Nair made it clear on Thursday 17 February 2011, that her last night working on broadcasting for World News Now would be on Friday, February 18th. The same day would also mark her final day on ABC News. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her successor immediately. World News Now, February 18 included three tributes to Nair. Former and current colleagues appeared in the segments. She treated the crew to hot food in her final day.
